SheShe
I ask because today we have received our first Christmas card. I could understand if it had been sent from abroad and they weren't sure of delivery time but this was from Essex. What do others think about this. Although it's nice to be remembered surely it's just a tad too early.
cgksheff
Infants class - distributing a list of children's names for people to do Christmas Cards!!! If you don't know their name, what do you want to send a card for??? You can guarantee some mothers will turn up with an armful of 30+ cards ... and moan about 'having to do this'. Sultana
I know people who have their cards written, but not necessarily posted! I haven't even checked to see if I need to buy any yet!!!!
Joanl
Ooooh if I got a Christmas card THIS early, you could bet your bottom dollar I would have lost it before the time to put it up had arrived. Perhaps whoever sent it had less faith in the postal service than the rest of us or perhaps they are off on holiday and won't be in the UK for Christmas. Very strange though whatever their reasons.....Post Early for Christmas? Definitley:hihi:
jez449
Post early then there is less chance of post going missing in the mad December rush or is there another price increase coming in December which we have not been made aware of?

Joanl
Started making mine this week, will write them by the beginning of December THEN I'll post them. Already got my Christmas stamps so don't think they'll change the value of those.

You can guarantee some mothers will turn up with an armful of 30+ cards ... and moan about 'having to do this'. the school i used to work at was requested by parents every year to send out a card list, i do recall sending it out in november as i was insructed from higher bodies. Maybe it's not so much not knowing the names of the children but the spellings - some children have very strangely spelt names.
