Badgeman10
I'm coming up to sheffield late December with the wife and looking to stay in a public house that has accomodation. Can anyone help or are there no pubs that do this. Cheers.

jake
If you like real ale - the Hilsborough Hotel may be worth a look - its a few miles out towards Hilsborough(!) but on the tram tracks - so 10 mins into town - the view out the windows wont win any awards - but its a nice pub inside (though not too rioutous) The Rutland in the city centre used to do rooms as well - nice beer garden (though maybe a bit chilly in December), decent beer and good (if a bit stodgy) food. Halibut
It's hardly 'a few miles' out jake, scarcely a mile out of the city centre. It's quiet but has an excellent range of beers. Not tried the food myself, but the place has an air of understated quality about it.

Ousetunes
The Fulwood Inn has accommodation. It's also a top boozer serving excellent food, has plenty of parking space and is relatively easy to find.

But it's on the tram route, and is a good boozer. It's the one that popped into my mind too.
