Chord
Hi, My Nan has asked me today if she can have a digibox in her bedroom but she only has an indoor ariel, can she? Cos I havent a blooming clue! Thanks, Jane.
Meaks
Yes she can. Mine works perfectly (after it got thrown on the floor in frustration trying to pick up a signal.) Of course it will depend on the signal where she lives.

me-and-pippo
If your nan can get a decent not not snowy, channel 5 reception with an indoor airial she is in with a good chance. But like Meaks says it depends on the area she lives in, if nan lives in a low land area of sheffield the chances of getting a digital signal will not be as good as if she lives in a high up area. Greybeard
I suggest you try to borrow a Freeview box, - and a scart lead, to try it before you commit to buying one.
