Saxon
The council in Manchester installed some retractable bollards to stop people using bus lanes. It's causing a bit of uproar with the public. PS keep an eye on the windscreen of the white van... http://www.biertijd.com/mediaplayer/flvplayer.swf?file=http://media.biertijd.com/movies/200610/onderen.flv&autostart=true&fs=true

Jess22
why do people think they can get away with it? The second one was a bit wierd. They both got out, the woman took what I think was a baby out of the back then disappeared.

Darbees
That is ridiculous. If a burglar gets injured on my premises he can sue me. There are countless cases where criminals have sued for injuries incurred so how come the council is allowed to injure people who break the law. They will be putting spikes that pierce the car next. I'd sue the a**e off them if that happened to me and claim royalties for the film. Anyway they are pretty strong, have a look at this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1w1p1raBrc and this
stackmonkey
it has since been found that the design of the bollards contravenes the government's own guidelines for them, in so much that the guidelines say they should not be able to cause damage to vehicles or people when rising up.
