Tried and tasted Recipes that work, tips on improving known recipes, good local ingredient suppliers ( so it is Sheffield relevant ), etc. edited to increase detail. SupraSteve
Mix some sweet chilli sauce with your favourite mango chutney (say 1/4 chilli and 3/4 chutney) and stick that in a bacon sandwich, on top of the bacon. Very, very nice. Mmmm.... 'chilli chutney bacon sandwich'. <dribble>
liam_s1
SupraSteve I like your avatar. I also like the idea of talking about suppliers... do we know of any good Chinese supermarkets?

stackmonkey
I'll recommend Gildage Farm Shop in Heath, nr M1 J29. They butcher their own free range meat, which tastes great and also do some veg when in season. The Pork tenderloin parcel is particularly nice, coming with herb and apricot stuffing, assorted herbs and wrapped in bacon. Cook it slowly in the oven with potatoes and serve with gravy to which I've add a little elderberry wine.
