Today I went up to Manchester for work. I was listening to my Ipod on the Metro platform and noticed that a woman in her 40’s was attempting to speak to me. I took my earphones out and she said “You’ve got beautiful long eyelashes, I had to tell you that”. I was pretty shocked at the total randomness, then she said “Sorry If I’ve embarrassed you” then she walked on to the Metro that had just pulled into the station.

It got me thinking that totally random stuff must happen like this everyday, so what’s your totally random story?

A colleague told me today that I reminded him of a character he was watching in a repeat of 'This Life' last night..............sassy and has a mind as sharp as a razor. Nice compliment though.

You are spot on as it was Anna. Another colleague described me, one time, as being like QE1; Loyal, emotionless and likely to slice the head off the first worthless bint to threaten her reign...............Very English.

But the essence of Anna was that she was a very warm, emotional and passionate person - so maybe you're not really like her at all, Cloudybay ;)
