Bikertec
Last night while driving up chesterfield road around 10.15pm there had been an accident. A car had hit the wall near the railway bridges and was burning intensively, its the first time I had actually seen a car catch fire due to a collision except in films. BTW I hope no one was actually hurt.
munky
If no-one was around, then it's possible it was a nicked motor and the riders crashed it and then set it alight. Where about was this, down near the train bridge at heeley . .??

I would imagine it was torched I can't see a normal accident causing the fire, but saying that an ambulance was in attendance.
melody on
I think this was a crash. We were driving back just after they had put the fire out and had to divert up Gleadless Road. there were patches of still-burning rubber at the top near the Shakespeare. Very weird. Somebody must have been going incredibly fast down that road for the tyres to melt.
