cbr900
does anyone have a number for someone that takes rubish away, can get a skip for £50 , but there isn't enough stuff to put in it . It's an old kitchen thats been removed.
cgksheff
Any contractor who takes it away and disposes of it legitimately (as opposed to fly tipping it somewhere) is going to have to pay to dump it and will not see much change out of £50 anyway. Can you get neighbours who want to get rid of stuff to contribute to the cost of a skip?
cbr900
was thinking more along the lines of a person with a van wanting to earn a few extra quid for taking it to the tip which is about 3 miles away.

Bikertec
PM bikertec. His signature is 'man with a van' Thankyou GambbleRatch but I can't take rubbish to the tip you need a permit to dump it if you have a van, I can't even take my own rubbish now. Sorry. Heyesey
Thankyou GambbleRatch but I can't take rubbish to the tip you need a permit to dump it if you have a van, I can't even take my own rubbish now. Sorry. Is your van emblazoned with logos? (For Spooktacula, probably?) The last time I had anything to do with this, it was only trade vans (to wit, anything with a company's logo on it) that were banned and/or charged. A plain white van could take all the rubbish it wanted. It may have changed since. I'm going back 5 years or so. And to the OP: the cheap and easy way to dump it is to fly-tip illegally. Trying to do the right thing is going to cost you money. You can ring the council and ask what they charge for removal.
DinnoCanary
Too many of these "man with van" are fly tippers who get paid to dump our waste.
Bikertec
No this is a new ruling I went to the dump a couple of months back with some old wardrobes from my flat, after a lengthy dispute with the monkeys at the dumpit site I was told any van at all has to have a permit to dump now. BTW he let me dump it this once.

Well, DUH. If you make people pay money to obey the law, you're going to see an increase in law-breaking. It's blindingly obvious to you, just as it is to me. It's only councillors who have such enormous difficulty in seeing the blindingly obvious.
