Charlton part company with Dowie

Great, a club at the bottom about to go on a 'we've just got rid of our manager/we've got a new manager' type spurt.

To be honest, ignoring their current predicament, he was never likely to be able to fill Curbishley's boots. He'll do a great job at his next club, so long as there wasn't a previous incumbent like Curbishley.

That, or a cage at Chester Zoo is requiring filling, or Earthworm Jim needs a rest .........

Fans are losing passion, all they care about is results, and if they dont get it, they manage to get the manager sacked. Prime example- swfc. Give the manager a chance, let him find his feet, and be supportive. Im a united fan, and i personally dont mind too much if we lose in the prem, at the time its depressing, but i enjoy watching a good match rather even if we do lose than slate my own teams manager. I guess im a minority.
