CHAIRBOY
Not too surprisingly, Charlton have parted company with Iain Dowie.
happyhippy
Great, a club at the bottom about to go on a 'we've just got rid of our manager/we've got a new manager' type spurt. To be honest, ignoring their current predicament, he was never likely to be able to fill Curbishley's boots. He'll do a great job at his next club, so long as there wasn't a previous incumbent like Curbishley. That, or a cage at Chester Zoo is requiring filling, or Earthworm Jim needs a rest ......... Ginner
I wouldn't have been surprised if Palace chairman Simon Jordan would have publically PHimSL at this but, fair play to the bloke, he's actually been quite supportive of Dowie.
marmite
Fans are losing passion, all they care about is results, and if they dont get it, they manage to get the manager sacked. Prime example- swfc. Give the manager a chance, let him find his feet, and be supportive. Im a united fan, and i personally dont mind too much if we lose in the prem, at the time its depressing, but i enjoy watching a good match rather even if we do lose than slate my own teams manager. I guess im a minority.
