Guest Ant
We've possibly had this before, but I couldn't find it on searching. What's the most likely scenario for the ending of humankind on the Earth? My guess is a new ice age caused by global warming. We'll mainly freeze to death, after which territorial wars and - oo, I dunno, let's say angry cockroaches - will finish the rest of us off. Don't ask for logical reasons, I have none to offer. jfish1936
I'll go for the asteroid! As a convinced evolutionist, I believe that some other creature will be better adapted to conditions after the impact, replace us, and in a few million years their descendants will be fighting each other over the heresy of believing there ever was an Age of Humans (our fossils, of course, were put there by the devil to tempt them away from the True Faith)
Cyclone
I think we'll dismantle it as part of the project to build the dyson sphere.
crookes
I think it will have to be all of them, as there's always some b****r who won't comply. You missed out mass suicide 'cause if the extremists win we might all have to wear a bomb.
Jabberwocky
Mankind wont go out with a bang, itll probably go with a whimper. Globalisation and high-tech internet methods will force people to become more and more isolated as they sit in their homes and practically do everything via the internet. Eventually man will be a rare, shy creature, only able to communicate via a computer or whatever else replaces it in future years. We`re already seeing the precursors of it today as people find themselves unable to socialise or meet partners.
muddycoffee
The human race will probably fall pray to a virus, due to overpopulation and unsolveable medical complications, in about 1000 year's time. We will steadily get weaker without noticing, and our genetic structure will start to fail. By then we will have no mineral reserves left, and will be used to living in a manner much more complimentary to the survival of the planet, but it will be all in vain. Too many species will have been driven to extinction, and too much of the once valuable fauna will be desert. But on the plus side, in the next few decades, we will enjoy improved health and longer lifespans. It is just a pity that we are approaching the plateau. Longcol
Haven't a clue but highly unlikely to happen in the lifetime of anyone currently alive on the planet.
Titian
It depends on if you mean it ending as we know it or just kaboom! It may end as we know it but that will just be part of evolution and humans will adapt without even noticing over a long long period of time. As it always has.
