Daywalker
it seems too slow, is there something wrong with my game or is the pal version just like that?

Rich
PAL versions of all games on all formats are slower than their NTSC counterparts, it's a known fact of gaming. Damn the Yanks, they get cheaper and faster games than us! Rich's note - see the "what do you think of America/Americans?" thread for my true feelings regarding US Citizens

Rich
What makes a PAL game slower? Not entirely sure to be honest, apart from PAL TV systems can't handle the faster signals of NTSC systems or something
spyro2000
Not entirely sure to be honest, apart from PAL TV systems can't handle the faster signals of NTSC systems or something This is true, but 'normally' they game makers tweak the game to make up for this, but a lot of the games do not get tweaked. it was the same for games like Mario Kart, you would notice that you have can get a faster lap time on an NTSC version than you could on a PAL version. nick2
Not entirely sure to be honest, apart from PAL TV systems can't handle the faster signals of NTSC systems or something PAL is higer resolution than NTSC, so perhaps it takes longer to render each frame ?
