adamd
I have been with freedom2surf - http://www.f2s.com for a few years now. Here is what i get for £22.50 a month Download Speed: 512k, Contention Ratio: 50:1, Wires only :unlimited downloads. I am thinking that after all the time with this company that speed should have gone up and price should have come down! Am i been ripped off? Who should i change to if i am? steev
...£22.50 a month Download Speed: 512k, Contention Ratio: 50:1, Wires only :unlimited downloads... I suppose the unlimited downloads part is good, but still, a bit pricey for 512... If you don't download that much, then you'd be as well off changing, go here, select up to 6 ISPs, & it will tell you exactly how good they are. Personally I've been with Zen for a couple of years & can't fault them. Most places (Zen included) will offer you a capped service for cheaper than you're paying, but if your PC's on downloading 24/7 then you may want to work out how much you're using a month before you go under-estimating your usage & racking up extra bandwidth charges elsewhere... If you're otherwise happy with freedom2surf, then try phoning them up & moaning about being able to get 2Mb elsewhere for the same price. You never know... Greybeard
Why are you on 512 - is it what you signed-up for or the best your BT line can achieve ?

9xyg32
definitewly. I get 2mb from demon for £19.95 per month and although their customerservices can be naff, the overall standard is pretty good.
