How can I be a plumber???

Recommended Posts

I've recently found out I'm getting made redundant at the end of June 2007 and have decided to do a plumbing course. Are there any plumbers on here that could give me some advice.

Is it possible to apply as a trainee plumber to get hands on experience and go to college part time or is it full time at college then get a job as a plumber?

How long is the training for?

Also if anyone would like a female plumber once I'm trained please PM me :D

Me and the lads at work had a 'night shift' conversation once about all training in a different building disciplines (brickie/joiner/plumber/electrician etc) and setting up businesses that would feed each other's.

One of us looked into plumbing and I think he found there were 20 places on a college course, that attracted something like 2,000 applications!
