medusa
Hi Titian If someone wishes to volunteer at the Sheffield Cats Shelter, the first step is to call the Shelter on 2724441 any afternoon between 1.30 and 4.00 and request a volunteer pack. This will contain information about the Shelter and what volunteers can do to support the Shelter (and a form). If the potential volunteer is still interested in volunteering, they then call the Shelter and arrange an interview with the wardens where they will get to see round the Shelter and ask questions and the like, before arranging days and times. The Shelter is kept afloat by a small army of volunteers- and we never turn a good volunteer down.

Titian
Thanks Medusa, I have passed the info on to the person concerned, hopefully she can start with them pretty soon. Does the process take long?
medusa
The whole process takes maybe two or three weeks, to allow for a mutually convenient time for interview and the like.
