Sheffield bands - who's the best?

Erm, they've had about 5 Top 40 hits, can tour the UK and fill medium size venues and nearly sold out Blackpool Empress Ballroom last year. I'd say that's pretty big in the grand scheme of things!

 

bigger than alot of other bands but never really 'broke through', outside london sheff and manc they struggle for fans.

 

i hope that changes with the new stuff but still can't see them breaking into the top 20

THE UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT are by far the best new band in Sheffield, go see them and i'm sure you will feel the same.

got the new Bromheads Jacket album this morning and it's a banger!

 

Plus the fanzine is a real nice touch.

 

Can't wait for the gig at the Foundry now on 4th October

I saw Driftrun at The Casbah on Friday night..never seen them before..it was an awsome set.
