Weird Goings-On Between Aston and Mosborough

Have you been on the A57 in the last hour or so between Aston and Mosborough?

 

Seen some strange things, but can't all be coincidental.

 

First, at the bottom of the dual carriageway on the way down from Crystal Peaks to the long bridge, there was a big white van parked on the island of the exit onto the bridge.

 

Then there were two guys dressed in black running down the carriageway on the left hand side towards us.

 

Then there was a car parked up just before it drops to one lane, with no lights on.

 

Then, just after the roundabout, there were two cars, one in front and one behind a panda car (coppers).

 

Then, passing by Alexandra Road in Aston/Swallownest, there was a car parked on the right hand siode with it's face crushed in.

 

All coincidence?

In Flintshire, police lurk in unmarked cars parked off the roadway. They feed reg nos into their computer and if unregistered, they radio ahead to a marked panda who stop and/or give chase. Not sure whether its an on the spot fine or a prosecution.
