FULL CONTACT RULES

Under full contact rules all kicks&Punches will be above the belt.

Fighters in Full contact (used to be called Full contact karate in the 1970's in America where this discipline came from) will wear Shiny trousers and kickboots.

Full contact is often confused with "kickboxing" , it is similar, but kickboxers generally wear shorts and kick to the legs as well as body and head. So it is a slight difference.

Full Contact is a mixture of Taekwondo and Boxing.

1. Middleweight contest:

Mick the Fireman (AFK) Vs Steve Nicholls.

Mick the fireman is the one who won the BUMAC in may, walking through all his opponents like terminator!

2. Superwelterweight Contest:

Ravi Goya (AFK) Vs Daniel Renshaw (Black Dragons)

Physiotherapy student and raw novice Ravi Goya has taken on the challenge on relatively short notice (due to Jonathan Lane being unavailable) against the more experienced Daniel Renshaw. Daniel Renshaw is an up and coming prospect but Ravi is not to be underestimated!!!

3.Welterweight contest:

Adam Lawrence (Adrian's School of Lau Gar) Vs Bilaal (Derby Taekwondo)

Adam didnt get a fight last time due to "British University champion" Sunny "the Snake" Singh's untimely withdrawal.

Adam this time will contend with Bilaal and his "legs of rubber".

Classic encounter Adam (who is of a boxing background having boxed at the Dennis Hobson gym previously) and Bilaal who has a lot of experience in Semi contact Taekwondo with his legs of rubber. Kicker Vs Boxer!

Also on the card is a Junior Bout:

Lethal Leif Taggart , the WUMA World Junior champion from Middlesborough Vs Haydn "the Tiger " Walker from Big Daves gym in Lincoln.

Big dave's gym is the old chikara gym where Lee Swaby, Trevor Tacy, Richard "action jackson" and other household names in Full contact hail from.

Including more contemporary fighters such as Shawn Boom Boom Burton, Stone Cold Steve Swinburne, Arron the Anvil Robinson and Ice Cold Scott Jenkins!!!

Local "rudeboy" Naz is moving up from featherweight to meet Lewis Stokes who is dropping down from Lightwelter.

CRUISERWEIGHT CONTEST

Well spoken psychology student Neil Topping took this contest at late notice when highly rated MMA fighter Mark Spencer moved up to 91kg!!!
