mikey   10 #2 Posted May 23, 2003 Yeah they have changed.  You also used to be able to rub the skin off quite easily in'tolden days  Now the skins are like superglued on. This is the farmers answer to changing fashions, its hip to leave skins on, I prefer em without. But now they just don't have the same taste.  I think a fair number aren't from Jersey anymore - or theyre grown in a different area of Jersey with a different soil type - certainly the taste has been a lot "earthier" than I remember.
