Guderian
There's a first time for everything. I don't think I 've ever heard anyone say they didn't like Barcelona before. I've been several times and never ever noticed a smell. there is just so much to do and see you can't fail to enjoy it. Have a great time. (Get a bus or taxi to Parc Guell cos its all uphill from town) Have to agree with that. Never heard anyone say they didnt like Barcelona.

Andy78
Tibidabo, that's all I have to say. One of the most jaw dropping views I have ever seen. Bit of a mission getting there, but really worth the effort. I didn't want to leave. It's like looking at a map of Barcelona in front of you. KenH
My tip is to visit Montserrat, which is about an hour outside of Barcelona by train. You get a train from underneath Placa Espanya (just outside the main gates to the Fayre). You can get ticket for everything including the train, cable car to the top of the mountain and even lunch at the cafeteria. http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/montserrat-spain.html
