I know i have touched upon this subject before but I fell that in the past some people have got the wrong impression of what I am trying to say. So let me make it as clear as possible.

Do you have any sympathy for someone (male or female) who is unable to meet a girl/boyfriend?

Please do not read any more into the question than this or see sinister intentions which are NOT there.

No.

I find it incredible to believe that someone could not find a boyfriend / girlfriend within 6 months if they were making reasonable attempts.

I'm not saying that a lifelong, everlasting and passionate relationship will emerge but I do believe that people will meet someone in that timeframe unless they're, well, exhibiting disturbing behaviour, smell, have a dreadful personality or just aren't trying.

This must sound brutal - but realistically I think that's the way it it.

Involuntary would suggest that they want to meet someone, but they just haven't. Therefore I think, especially if you're over 30 (!), that there must be some really deep-seated issues lurking.

So yes, I guess I feel sorry for "them".
