kopman9
Get a Haynes manual and do it yourself, changing oil and filters is one of the easiest jobs. You can do it yourself for £35 tops or go to a garage and pay £60. Haynes manuals are brilliant step by step instructions written in leyman terms no jargon. yorkiepudd
if you can't do it yourself, try Ghia Garage, on Penistone Rd (nr Leppings Lane). tel 0114 234 0826. Used them for years until I moved out of the area..

Trickle
Get a Haynes manual and do it yourself, changing oil and filters is one of the easiest jobs. You can do There are a few pre requisits. You need a socket set (as the last bugger will have over tightened it). You need a jack (usually) in addition to the cars included side jack or an axle stand. You need some flat ground = no terraced house on a hill residents - you could move the car elsewhere but you then have to take cleaning products with you and its a pain. You need a large 4l+ capacity tray to kill with collected oil. You need an old empty oil can to put that oil into. And when you are a n00b and have spilt the oil everywhere you need to have some stuff to clean it up with.
