Thunzi
Who the heck are they ? Someone with a mixture of both male and female reproductive organs. My understanding is that hermaphrodites live their life as a male or female, depending on which of the organs are the most developed at birth and the wishes of the parent. An operation is then performed to remove the redundant organs. Separate toilet facilities are not necessary. I would think that they wouldn't wish to be singled out either. There is a lot of stigma attached to the condition and like anyone else they just want to get on with their life "normally".

Thunzi
We have just been arguing about the correct to spell it, so is it spelt 'hermaphrodites' ?? No dictionary and google gave both spellings? It's based on the story of Hermes and Aphrodite so Hermaphrodite is the generally accepted spelling.
King Rat
Apparently hermaphrodites are more common now and not all can have a operation to have which ever organs removed.
