Unknown
Can anyone recommend me on car insurance for new drivers? I passed test 1st go in July and I am wanting a car insured ASAP. Anyone know of any cheap ones (preferably below £1300)? I have recently been recommended to Tesco and Direct Line, they didnt go below £1500 (on the internet)
siany86
Hi, Have you tried the AA? They insured my boyfriend's car (with one claim) for £1000, and that included me as a named driver and I just passed in July too. But we both have pass plus - I think Norwich Union do a thing where you can get a faster no claims discount with Pass Plus? Hope that helps Sian
Herbaliser
Try confused.com or moneysupermarket.com. My last two policies came through them and were much cheaper than the quotes from Tesco and Direct Line (I ended up with NIG last year and Fortis this year)
sasky1
When my daughter passed her test she was 19 she bought a new toyota. She had toyotas insurance and it cost £760 cheapest after that was Tesco

H_K_delight
I'd try Tesco. Or spend 15mins in confuse.com to compare the deals.
MonkeyLover
Definately try confused.com. I got my car insurance through them earlier this year - was about £300 cheaper than the cheapest other quote I tried. (i'm a newly qualified driver too)

Noodle
I saw an advert for Admiral for insurance just for young 'uns. Looked new, not sure how well they will compare.
