beeper
Well not spam strictly speaking, but 'undelivered mail' notifications after someone's used my email address. Oh - and another 380 have just arrived...
JoeP
God, I've been here myself. It's not fun. Really sorry to hear this - the only thing I can say that might make you feel better is that it was a 'one off' for me.
xircon
I suffered from a massive attack from a credit insurance firm called Creedance a couple of months ago, not so much volume (10 - 20 per hour for 3 days) which was huge but size, each message was a couple of meg. They blamed it on someone else having a badly setup Windows Server, as if!!

Ann*
Well not spam strictly speaking, but 'undelivered mail' notifications after someone's used my email address. Oh - and another 380 have just arrived... Someone, who has your email address in their address book, has a virus. Judging by the volume, it could be a Company. Unless you can trace the originating IP, so you can inform them, there isn't much you can do until they sort it out for themselves. It is bloody annoying though ~ been there, done that, burnt the t-shirt and used the ashes as fertilizer.
steev
If it continues, & it's mail being spoofed to appear as if it came from your domain name, you can have an spf record added which will stop it.
