*Twinkle*
Been thinking about this alot lately... Strangly enough... Once I qualify as a solicitor, I shouldnt have too much of a problem helping my parents out financially... (They've supported me for 18 years, so now I can pay them back is my viewpoint) My parents already have life assurance (set up independently) and a private pension fund through my dad's work... The house is paid for and it is held on trust for myself and sister and our cousins after the death of both parents. Guess I'm just worried about how much time I'm gonna be able to spend with them as they get older... I'm going into a very demanding career as a solicitor, and I'd like a family of my own... but would find it very hard to care for a less-mobile parent, should I need to... and using care services would simply not be an option for me. Its going to be hard when the day comes, but I'm sure I could work part time and be with my family if needs be.
