I aint ,i took them for first time last year ended up being last time they moaned it was cold and we ended up at mc donalds.

I don't like kids trick or treating and my whole family nagged me for a week last year about taking them so this year is a defo no no,infact the next ten year are unless there old enough to take them selves.

Will be having fireworks saturday at mum though looking forward to it.

I've dressed my 3 1/2 yr twin girls up at tea time as witches, fed them halloween buns and went to nxt door to the neighbours and my mum's for pics that's it ....

 

I like the idea if parents are with them , but these days if you give sweets a minority look at you as if to say '' where's the money''

But that's the funny bit

 

I love the look you get when you give a handful of slimy jelly sweets to a 16 year old who was planning his/her shopping trip to the off licence

 

I wonder whether Fright Night is having an effect on trick or treat

We seem to get less and less each year - and currently have a huge bowl of dods in the hall that are soooo difficult to walk past without having a dip

Don't you remember carol singing? How the times have changed!

 

I remember going round carol singing as a kid, I can't remember an adult being with us.

 

Having said that I wouldn't send my kids out on their own. Am I being too over protective?
