KATIEB_23
Whilst walking Gadget last night we started messing about in this children's play area (walks do get boring when its too dark for him to fetch anything ) Well he got so excited climbing up a ladder-type thing onto the climbing frame then running down this slide! He absolutely loved it! It got me thinking, maybe he would enjoy agility... although it would have to be somewhere I could just 'try out' incase he hated it... he hated the obedience classes I took him too - kept trying to scrabble out the door. The lady thought that maybe cos he's a rescue, being with lots of dogs together indoors brought up bad memories? Anyone know of anywhere suitable? technophobe
Gosh cant believe youve just started this thread Ive just been asking about agility on another thread. Saying that George (my lurcher cross border collie) absolutely loves climbing up A Frames and jumping between bollards etc. I sometimes use the childrens play area in Millhouses park. He gets so excited that he bites me (yes it is normal he just gets over excited it does hurt though!). He makes me laugh so he just gets more and more wound up thinking hes really clever which of course he is. Sorry to harp on about my pooch but he is my baby! Globule
Several clubs listed here http://www.philotus.co.uk/activepages/clubsv2_ed.asp?fldName=tblRegionsUK.Region I do agility with mine but we don't do clubs now. My tip would be to avoid KC registered ones!

Lotti
i'm trying to do agility with takara!! she uses the children's play area in the ponderosa! she's got to a stage where I can tell her to 'hup!' instead of running with her now - not that she'd do it in front of anyone of course! how about a SF outing to the agility club then??
