Flippin woolworths!!!

:rant: After waiting for aprox 3 weeks for my TV to come into their Big W store, it arrived today, my choice was .... pay £45 delivery or talk nicely to my father in law (the box was so big it wouldnt fit into a normal sized boot).

 

I collected it today with dad-in-law, got it home and ...... no remote control,:rant: i phoned the store, they told me to phone customer services, .... after being on hold 15 minutes :rant: (on a 0870 number) i finally got through, for them to tell me to phone tech support.:rant: .... again, aprox 20mins on hold then got through, they told me to pack the TV back up and swop it in the Big W, i explained that they hadnt got anymore in store, and why should i have to go to the inconvenience of returning it when the charge £45 for the same service,:rant: :rant: .... they've given me another number to order a remote control .... by the time i got through .... that department was closed, looks like ive got all this fun again tomorrow! .... I hate shoddy service! :rant:

 

I got the TV very cheap on special offer .... if i had paid full price i would have returned it and damanded my money back ...... they've got me by the short and curleys :rant: :rant: :rant:

Woolies sell dud PC games an' all :rant:

 

Christmas 2001 was ruined by them.. They sold me 2 copies each of Alien Vs Predator and something else, and neither copy worked, both giving the same disc error related error message on trying to install, I swear they use the discs as coffee coasters on their tea breaks !

I'm guessing by all the :rant: you're VERY angry!!!

 

Me and my boyfriend bought 2 dvds from Big W last week. We HAD planned a lovely night in but when we got in the dvds still had the security tags on them so we couldn't even open the boxes!!! We had to go to the pub instead :)

talking of DVD's ..... i noticed ace age 2 is out, think its about £15 in asda .... but its £18.99 in Big W .... i was going to buy it with the TV .... glad i didnt know, would have paid over the odds AND had nothing to watch it on :rant:

'Big W' no longer exists. Its now just a crapper but cheaper Woolworths.

 

Out of interest, what would you have liked them to do?

 

I had JUST got the TV home, it wasnt as if i had been using it for a few weeks then it broke .... i hadnt even unpacked it. what annoyed me is nobody would take any responsability and just passed the buck :rant:

an apology would have been nice and being put through to the correct department straight away ... without having to wait for 15 mins on hold on a premium rate number would also have been a big improvement:rant:

 

If this is how they 'look after' their customers .... im gob smacked their still in business:confused:
