Pardon my ignorance, but who are Jason McRoy and Spen King?

I only ask because I'm interested in why you'd choose them?

Spen King was the designer of the original Land Rover 100 inch Station Wagon (later to be named Range Rover) among other things. He was a big player in the British motor industry back when it was British.

Being a Land Rover geek, I'd love to talk to him about his life's work.

Jason McRoy is the closest I've ever had to a hero.

He was a Mountain Bike rider in the early days of the sport of Downhill. He'd also raced road and BMX.

He was a popular figure on the world circuit, and was exceptionally talented.

He was killed, in 1995, on his Harley Davidson on the Woodhead Pass.

He was an inspiration to so many riders, me included.

He still represents what it means to ride a bike on dirt.

1. Keith Richards from Rolling Stones

Because he looks cool and I bet he's got some tales to tell!

2. Germaine Greer

I like her, she talks sense - sometimes.

3. Hilary Clinton

I admire her, she's a strong woman.

4. Gordon Ramsey

He's yummy!

5. My great-grandma

Because I was really young when she died so I don't remember her. But apparently I am very much like her.

p.s I am inviting 5 because its bad luck to have an odd number at dinner - apparently!

Interesting. I've often passed his "shrine" and wondered who he was. His parents must have loved him very much but I sometimes think that the place a person is killed is not the place to remember them.
