We also used SBS for the last 2 house moves. Excellent service both times. We did quite a bit of our own packing using banana boxes from Morrisons (good tip - label boxes which room items to go into at new property). SBS brought some extra boxes before the moving date. No mishaps or breakages on removal day but just in case you know your items are covered by their insurance.They brought cardboard hanging wardrobes on the day so no need to pack your clothes in wardrobe - just transfer clothes on hangers to the portable wardrobes then rehang at the new address. It wouldn't hurt to contact SBS and ask for a quote.

Can any one recommend a trustworthy removal company that doesn't cost the earth ? Mr Poppylamb may be away when we move and I am far too weedy to help carry the wardrobe downstairs . If we didn't have to remortgage the new house to pay them too that would be perfect

 

I would recomend you moverslondon.org.uk . But it's not the cheapest choice.
