I am planning on moving house around Christmas.

 

S5 area. Only 1.5 mile between the two properties.

 

Was planning on hiring a van and getting a mate or two to help me move.

But just wondering does anyone have any idea how much a removal company may charge? (if not for anything else but to save the strain on my back!). I just want a rough figure is possible

 

2 beds, 2 sofas, dining table with 6 chairs, washing machine, tumble dryer, tv with stand, 1 double wardrobe, trampoline, and a garage full of packed boxes are the big items.

I will box, pack, bubble wrap pretty much everything for ease, beforehand.

 

But if anyone has gone through a similar situation, would love some idea of cost involved...

You might find a removals company cheaper than hiring a van if its a small job. Have you tried ringing them for a quote?
