Howzat! Â Â 10 #1 Posted October 29, 2006 Mate's 19th this weekend and I was pondering over what I could get him, then it hit me, he loves a nice cigar. So I was wondering if anybody knew any speciality stores that sold a nice cigar like Monte Cristo's. Cheers.
 Share this content via...
mr craig   10 #2 Posted October 29, 2006 I can't think of any shops what specialize in cigars but there are a few bars in town that sell them now. Cubana off West St used to have quite a decent selection and I'm pretty sure the Wig & Pen sell them as well.
 Share this content via...

hounsfieldjr   10 #5 Posted October 29, 2006 F G Thomas - The Pen Shop - on Surrey Street used to have a good selection. Not looked for a while though. I think Ruskins sell a range of Cuban cigars but not sure about Montecristos. If you can find one, you could get a Cohiba robusto - the cigar of choice for Fidel Castro! hounsfieldjr   10 #8 Posted October 30, 2006 Fidel Castro gave up smoking cigars some years ago now.  So no more antisocial habits for Fidel then. Unless you count human rights abuse...!!
 Share this content via...

Phanerothyme   12 #11 Posted October 30, 2006 Oddbins on abbeydale actually have a reasonable selection, but I can't attest to the quality of their storage, which I gather is crucial.
 Share this content via...
