Grotesquely behaved child in town

Recommended Posts

From walking around town I recon 50% of kids and many adults find it amusing to stamp near, clap, chase or try to kick pigeons. This leads me to believe that 50% of kids and many adults are utter morons.

Maybe if we stop feeding them, or have an eradication program we'd all be happier, and as for the pigeons ;)

Any chance of a poll? How many injured pigeons are out there .... It can't a great life for them.

The kid got that attitude towards animals by watching his parents, no doubt.

They probably show total disrespect for anything around them that doesn't satisfy their immediate needs.

The scene generated by this little brat and his uncaring mother does indeed sound grotesque. How long will it be before the little charmer is scaring other small children is anyone's guess...

i know grotesque is a little harsh but honestly i was so angry, seeing the pigeon running away as fast as it could, yet it must have been ill as it didnt fly away

I don't mean the word is too harsh, only that the meaning is wrong. A grotesque child would be disfigured in some way. What I presume you mean is "a child behaving grotesquely in town" which is quiet different. To behave grotesquely they would have to have an outward appearance which was completely at odds with the way they behaved.

Ten minutes after reading this thread I began thinking that the child might be doing the pigeon a favour. If it was ill and dying, it could be suffering from a lingering painful death due to poison, and might finish up being torn to pieces by a cat or hit by a car.

I am no expert but a stone to the head would be a merciful release from that misery.

its wierd, you need a licence to drive, to keep animals, to go fishing, to erect scaffolding, hang fire doors, etc etc etc etc. so many things in this country are, quite rightly, regulated so that people who are unfit or unable to perform the task at hand are excluded on grounds of incompitency.

you see where im going with this?

so it seems strange to me how we'll let any old inbred Neanderthal have children and then pay for their benefits to continue their families "trailer trash" legacy. :loopy:
