mheason
Hi, I drove past the Blue Room restaurant in Woodseats a few days ago and noticed a group of people outside protesting. They had banners proclaiming something to do with animal cruelty I think. Anybody no what this is about? Cheers, Matt

I wonder if they are serving baby seal burgers or Dolphin stuffed with Fois Grois.

feargal
I hope they don't serve forced rhubarb. That sounds dreadfully cruel.
Mattski
Perhaps they were protesting against crimes against good taste. The Blue Room, the closest Sheffield gets to Footballer's Wives. M
Tony
Sounds like the same group that stood around outside Rafters at Nether Green. They had a problem with Foie Gras Support your local restaurant - ask for Pâté de Protestataire
Meaks
They are clearly morons who should just not bother if they don't like it.

Any right thinking person should have a problem with traditionaly produced foie gras tbh ... but it's not the restaurant's fault. If people stopped eating it, they wouldn't serve it ... Unfortunately to stay in business, places have to stock what customers want. The customer is always right after all
Tony
You are perfectly entitled to your opinion rubydazzler and I respect that. However, don't try getting between me and a plate of veal
Meaks
Oooh, I hope they have veal next Wednesday. It annoys me that places don't do it any more.
