mheason
Wednesday November 8th sees arguably the UK’s two best traditional rock climbers visiting the Showroom in Sheffield for what promises to be one of the most exciting climbing events of the year. Dave MacLeod features in the English Premiere of the brand new film E11 (Hot Aches Productions – Fools With Tools), a 40 minute profile of his ascent of Rhapsody, the hardest traditional route in the UK, if not the world. To give you an idea of how good this film is the trailer has been downloaded 21,000 times in three weeks! Dave Birkett features in the World Premiere of Set In Stone (Posing Productions – Storms: The Movie, winner of the people’s award prize at last years Kendal Film Festival), a 40 minute ‘Profile Of A Lakeland Climber’ detailing many of Dave’s cutting edge routes in Cumbria. Posing Productions continually set new standards of film production in the climbing world. Following the two films will be a raffle sponsored by planetFear and an open Question and Answer session with both Dave’s and the production crews.
