slimsid2000 Â Â 10 #1 Posted October 25, 2006 What do you think would be a good new bus route that isn't currently served? It can be either commercial or tendered. For example how about a direct West Sheffield Link between Stannington in the north west and Totley in the south west, via Lodge Moor, Fulwood, Ecclesall and Dore. Â Any other ideas? theripsaw   10 #2 Posted October 25, 2006 nope - we dont want the rowdy stannington massive in our tranquil hood.  I think there should be one bus route for all the buses- out of Sheffield and dont come back until they have sorted themselves out. personal5579 Â Â 10 #3 Posted October 25, 2006 A bus route linking High Wincobank with - ANYWHERE!   Â I live on the Jenkin estate and without a 30 minute walk I can only catch a bus into the City Centre (which operates on a hourly basis - if were lucky - with no Sunday service). Â Cant even get a Bus to Meadowhell Interchange :loopy: Â So I would suggest some route serving High Wincobank, Meadowhall, Hillsborough and the City Centre - with the same frequency as the 51 service. Â But I should point out the First South Yorkshire are trying to reduce routes/services, etc, etc, etc, and increase fares to line the pockets of their fat cat shareholders!
