Football 5-a-side advice needed...

I'm starting a 5 a side team in my company...am seeking advice regarding leagues and regular matches held within sheffield and rotherham area. Being new to this, am not very sure how many players are required in a team (including substitutes, goal keepers and all). Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Why dont you enter at the Pitz, its at attercliffe, not far from attercliffe rd.

They have a regurar league Mon-Thur n Sun.

Try Goals near All saints School just behind the train station. Brand new facilites, they have leagues every night of the week. Better than Pitz in my opinion, we transferred our team from there.

For the 5 a-side leagues you can use up to 8 players per game, refs are provided, gameslast for 40 minutes. Cost is about £28 per match plus £20 registration fee.

There is also a Business 5 a side League for company teams at Concord Sports Centre in Sheffield.
