I never use the Dr Watson debugger. If you want to disable him, run regedit.

Find:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug

and change the value of Auto to "0" including the quotes.

It is probably "1" now.

Edit the registry at your own risk!!

After closing Internet explorer tonight i got an error message saying Dr Watson Post Mortem Debugger has had to close..............or sumat.

Is it something to do with windows or spyware/virus? Any advice please

It's part of Windows - it's designed to help sad developers like me find out why their masterpiece has gone to Silicon Hell in a bucket. :)
