Which of these do you want most in your life.

Recommended Posts

When I was young I wanted success and worked damned hard against the odds to get well on the way there. Then I got seriously ill and lost it all. So for years all I craved was security, trying to get to a place where I felt safe and stable was all that mattered. Now I have that I realise my life has half gone and I've done nothing that most people take for granted by the time they get to my age. I'm desperate to catch up, and now want to have adventures and live life to the full. I feel like I've earned it. And hopefully, one day, I'll have that long lost success too, which might lead to some security. Is it possible to have all three or is that just greedy?

None of the three meet my true desire.

Revenge is the one thing; and rarely can it be taken.

Revenge meaning two things :-

Firstly, in the English meaning, to return, and avenge the crap thrown at me, and secondly, etymologically, to return, and start again .......

To go back to your question, I've had a hell of an adventure, but I'd have liked a better one.

Health would supersede all - without it everything else is very difficult, if not impossible.

Having had a small share of the adventure thing, I'd like security for me and mine and to get that I need to be successful. :)

I've spent a decade when I had serious financial insecurity whilst clearing debts; that taught me the hard way that without security all else is insignificant.
