Does anybody live or as lived in these areas and what are your views apart from prostitution about the area , for anyone that does not know it is across the road from the (Old ) jessops hospital, there is a good community spirit and for those who think that Park Hill flats are classed as listed these flats on EDWARD STREET are much older and if you go to the sheffield weston park new museum you will see what a good community it is to live here . I just wondered what are peoples views for these areas.

I wouldn't have said most of us "think" PHF are listed, I'd have said a lot of us had more than a suspicion that it had happened, and that there are very few of us who don't KNOW for a fact that PHFare listed.

Not all old buildings are listed. PHF are listed as they were seen as a huge step forward in urban design and architecture. Just because a building is old it doesnt make it important im afraid.

We lived there for 8 years until last year. It's great, the historical prostitution issue is now a thing of the past and only ever existed on the streets outside anyway. The chance to live in the city centre with gardens, parking and a real community is a very rare thing. Miles better than the rabbit hutch modern buildings all around.
