manufamily
I am struggling to park around Jessop Wing-any suggestions?
Heyesey
Don't go in a car. It's not what you want to hear, but parking is so horrendous around there that most people are better served either going by taxi, or parking 2-3 miles away and getting a bus. Foggy Eyes
depends if you are working or visiting...for visitors it seems to be much better now there's lots of pay and display, with more chance of getting parked. you might struggle right near the jessop though, try a little further away. The area around the central campus (either a mile or half mile radius, I can't remember) is residents only permit parking...
Missdan
I am struggling to park around Jessop Wing-any suggestions? Don't g in car, last time I went I parked on a side road which I thought was ok. got back to a £30 parking fine, as the notice saying residents only was so small I didn't notice it, nor did my passenger, It's cheaper to get a taxi. dogfood
There's a multi-storey at the Hallamshire Hosp, my mum was up there the other week and had no bother parking at the multi-storey. You can see it from Glossop Road, but not sure how you get in there as I don't drive myself, try hospital website if they have one. As people have said though, plenty of buses go up there and its within walking distance of the Uni of Shef tram stop.
Heyesey
There's a multi-storey at the Hallamshire Hosp, my mum was up there the other week and had no bother parking at the multi-storey. Lucky her. The last time my partner had an appointment there (for extreme back problems and almost total inability to walk), the car park was full so they made us drive on, we wound up parking about half a mile away and having to walk back. Wasn't that fun.
