Allen
Try "Silky" cleaner. It's actually intended for cleaning the paintwork on caravans. It comes in a tub ( a bit like a car polish tub). It's brilliant for windscreens. Also great for getting the shine back on double glazing window frames and cleaning bathroom tiles.
stackmonkey
I use a normal house hold glass cleaner or a dedicated glass polish.
pete_jim
Check, wipe or replace your wiper blades then get a sopping wet sponge with a minute amount of toothpaste on it and clean the windscreen with it. Rinse well.
