Waxen_Pith
Most important fixture of the season (For Liverpool and Manc fans anyway!) Predictions? Personally, given our terrible form at the moment, I'd be more than happy with a draw, and will do something obscene if we win. Gonna go for 1-1. Guderian
I shall be calling the boys home from the Stretty. Form is of no consequence before United v Pool games. I do however have a slight worry over midfield - Think Fergie will play O'Shea in there to shore things up. Thereby handing the intiative to Liverpool, as he did to Arsenal. Liverpool don't deserve the respect Arsenal do however, and I hope rooney and Saha give old man Hyppia the run around.

stonerose
i agree i dont think form matters(thank god!) i think crouch has to start for liverpool to have a chance, reckon it'll be a draw also, a defeat would be a disaster for liverpool(hope gerrards back!) Hyppia may be slowing down, but still a very effective defender, MOTM last night in my opinion! I do worry, however, that Benitez may put Auerilo in left back where he has been less than convincing so far... And I hope your team have the same attitude regarding respect as you do! A lack of respect can only be good for us...

Heyesey
Last year, from about this point in the season onwards Liverpool were by far the best team. I won't be surprised if they pull the same trick this year, and start by winning on Sunday. Seeing as the title is already out of reach, it's not like they'll be under pressure. AtticusFinch
Although we've had a poor start to the season, I think this'll be the game where we turn it around. I'm reminded of Jan 2003 where we'd been on a terrible run but the "Manc buster" Danny Murphy scored in the 84th minute to get us a 1-0 win at Old Trafford. If we play to the standard we're capable of, we can beat them.

I disagree. Bellamy and Kuyt should play up front on Sunday. Their work rate, physical presence, speed and antagonistic qualities will give Man U's defence a lot to think about, and they'd also take some of the burden off the midfield. Is Rio going to be fit? I do hope so.
