GrahamY
Many people are more than happy to buy an extra tin of cat food to help us feed the cats that depend on us for food. We now have a custom-made box for tins and other food in the Handsworth branch of Asda. I've put a picture on our website: http://www.catsprotectionshop.com
Lou
I've seen a donation box in the Asda in Chapeltown too. I think it's a good idea and next time I go to Asda I think I'll make a donation.
Guest
Good luck! Hope it gets filled rapidly . I try to remember to put a box of mog food sachets in the collection box at my local Sainsbury's each time I'm there to buy food for my two. Guest
I put a dead bird in the one at Handsworth. Cats prefer them when they're still warm. Nice gesture though.

randolf
How many of those people who give their hard-earned cash to saving poor little cats also donate money to help starving or abused children, victims of torture or homeless, destitute refugee humans? I find it ridiculous that people donate to animal charities; there are humans out there suffering and their plight is often totally ignored. Do you value the life of a cat above the life of a human? If so, then I think you are extremely confused and probably a little bit nuts.

Did cats illegally invade Iraq and Afghanistan? Humans are the only species with an infinite capacity to destroy their planet. Cats don't.

randolf
Supporting animal and human charities isn't mutually exclusive. Of course not, and everyone's free to donate to whomever they decide. I just find it difficult to understand why somebody would give money to save cats and not to save humans.
