gemma86
Ok, I know it's not exactly the weather for them this week, but mine are broken and I need a new pair. Anyone know of any shops that are still selling them, preferably cheap ones and not designer. Thanks
bluesandtwos
decathelon on st marys gate and ccc seem to have them in pretty much all the time and not bad prices (10-40 quid I would say is cheap compared to 200+ for nice designer ones)

GabbleRatcht
Cheap OK but make sure you get ones that are UV stopping. Cheap 'coloured glass' sunglasses are worse for your eyes than wearing nothing at all. The lower light level makes your pupils dilate and admit more UV than without them. bluesandtwos
just checked the pair of shades I bought in Decathlon for £15. they have the relevent UV protection. Also have replacable lenses should you break em.
gemma86
Thanks for the suggestions. When I meant cheap, I meant somewhere not like The Sunglasses Shop in Meadowhall, who sell them all year but they're expensive cos they're designer. I'm prepared to pay about £10, and was hoping someone might have seen them in some sort of shop like Topshop/Dorothy Perkins etc - I know the ones in town don't have them anymore, DP in Meadowhall don't... I thought H&M might still have some in, but they don't - although I'll check out the new one on Thursday in town (although entering there on it's first day may be a death wish...) I have seen a couple of pairs online, but I'd rather buy them in person because you never know if they are the right shape and look ok!
