thingy
I've seen a baby pidgeon, not captive bred. They're yellow and look (and sound) like baby chicks. It's one of those things you dont really get to see
purdyamos
I've had baby pigeons on my balcony. They are repellent, and seeing them made my scorn for the species even deeper.

saxon51
A baby pigeon (not captive bred) or; Just wondering. A few months ago we found one injured in our back garden. It was about the size of a sparrow, and ugly as sin - in a cute sort of way. A cat must have had it. We spent 24 hours trying to save it, but it died. We called it Walter. A cat must have had it. We spent 24 hours trying to save it, but it died. We called it Walter. When I discovered them the first time in the concrete gutter, I opened the window wide and leaned out to look at them. The next time I did that the mother had killed them. They had beak-stab wounds and one had had it's brained smashed on the concrete. Oh, and pigeon nests are not rustic looking twig structures. They are completely encrusted with pigeon crap. They look like giant ashtrays.
flashbang
I once hand reared a baby pigeon, he was only a few days old when I got him, He started following me around the house, I really loved him. I had him for about 5 mts then my horrible cousin hit him with a brush and killed him. That was about 30 odd years ago, I've still not forgiven her.
