FORE
I was warned by zone alarm that my PC wanted to accept (?) connections from the internet. Being unsure what it was I refused. I searched for iexplore.exe and one site mentioned about it being a trojan. Safe or not please? THANKS!
JoeP
OK...well the REAL iexplore.exe is Internet Explorer. However, some Trojan Horse programs infect the program. Have you run a sweep with anti-virus software?
Skatiechik
Have you installed the new version of IE? That would be plausible in why it was re-asking you to validate it.
fnkysknky
If it's asking to accept connections rather than initiate them then it may well be a trojan. As above, run anti-virus and a few anti-spyware (Adaware, Spybot etc)
FORE
Strange really, I was asked again tonight and couldn't get on site for a few times. Ran the AVG virus check - found nothing - and without rebooting all's well. Apparently!! Thanks!

Not changed anything recently - only google task bar, or whatever it's called.
WTHN
Sometimes that has hidden things in it. I'd just be on the look out and careful if I was you, they tend to go undetected and then your buggered.

Stuff
iexplore.exe is definately a dodgy program... whatever you do, don't run it! Try looking for firefox.exe or opera.exe instead
