fierysatsuma
I have Norton 2002 - perhaps I should invest in a newer version or something else. Do the engines themselves have any way of blocking 'certain' images. Luckily enough I was around and she didn't click on this certain image. Any advice would be welcome. Ta It says in the top corner if safe search is off click on it and put safe search on. Or go in to advanced settings. EDIT: Just tried it and it doesn't seem to block those two images

JoeP
Google, methinks!! Seriously - there's a host of decent looking pyramid images there. Google's Advanced Options offer no filtering, moderate or strict filtering - I run 'Moderate'.
GrinderBloke
Try this http://www.picsearch.com/ One of the picture search engines we allow the kids to access at work, so far images have been perfectly accepable.
saxon51
I was googling for samples of art on the PC at school to use in my art lessons, and, whilst 'safe search' was 'on', still ended up having to view some pretty weird stuff. Not the type of stuff I would have wanted any of the kids to see.

alchresearch
Do you have a router which allows you to block sites (Netgear ones usually do). We blocked Yahoo images at school last year because of the inappropriate stuff that kept coming through. "Simpsons" was a pretty bad picture search.
