kurlymunky Posted October 13, 2006 Share Posted October 13, 2006 As far as I know Media Player doesn't play DVDs by default. You need a third party software installed (like WinDVD). Once you've got this installed Media Player can use it's files in the background to play DVDs. Guest Posted October 13, 2006 Share Posted October 13, 2006 All MPEG-2 decoders (used in DVDs) require a fee to be paid. Most graphics cards and pre-built PCs come with something like Cyberlink PowerDVD or similar.
