Rufus
I live in Netheredge and since Sunday I have noticed skin feeling dry, red, irritated after getting out of the shower. I've come across this before and its when they put more chlorine in the water. Was just wondering if anybody else had been experiencing this. I do actually have a shower filter but can't put it in at the moment as I share a shower. Shower filters are really good, you feel a lot better after getting out. Rufus
Hi Rufus! Welcome. Do you share a shower regularly? I bet you feel a lot better after doing that too, you lucky thing! ha ha I wish No, I actually share a shower with somebody else who is renting at the same place. I originally got my shower filter from a friend in USA. I don't want to sound too girly but boy you notice the difference when Sheffield water is filtered properly. Your hair falls just right and your skin is way smoother. I'll have to try and convince the other person that its a good idea. The only problem with a shower filter is that the water pressure goes a bit. The ones in UK from like Yorkshire Water are well expensive. Like £50:mad: whereas in US they are about $15. Jabberwocky
Speaking as an ex water board employee, they only add extra chlorine in hotter weather, or unless someone has complained of a stomach bug or if theyre flushing out the mains. N stuff.

AlquarUK
I had a hot bath a few months ago (normally shower ) and without any soap/bubbles in the water. It was like going to the swimming baths!
